1977 Graduated from Kyoto Seika University, Department of Western Painting

1977～1983 Began pottery career at Kyoyaki kiln Tsuchibuchi Touan

1979 Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Ceramics Training School

1983 Visited Korean ceramic industry, studied under Mr. Jinnai Mashiko Sakata

1985 Independently opened Happu Kiln in Suzuka Mountains, Shiga Prefecture (Happu Pass is on top of the mountain)
