Pottery History
1946 Keizo Kiyokawa I was born in Gojozaka, Kyoto. After graduating from Kyoto Prefectural Ceramics College, he studied under his uncle Kiyokawa Ichito.
1971 Becomes independent and calls himself “Heian Kiccho”
1988 Selected for the Japan Sencha Crafts Exhibition (Selected every year thereafter)
1996 His wife Eiko Kiyokawa inherited him for the second time
1999 Received the Encouragement Award from the Japan Sencha Kogei Association
2003 Received the Kyoto Shimbun Award
2007 All Japan Senchado Federation Award
Currently a regular member of the Japan Sencha Kogei Association
